Open form homes
part of the Home for you, home for me project
This project explores ways of dwelling in domestic spaces based on the idea of spatial typologies rather than predefined functions. Perhaps framing our notion of the requirements of a home as spaces which are open/closed, public/private, of particular dimensions and proportions can allow for greater flexibility in the way spaces are then used creatively and inspiringly. And rather than being restrained by cultural norms of domesticity, spaces within a dwelling can be reinterpreted according to differing and evolving needs of its inhabitants.
